Teacher Appreciation week is May 6-10 which means it is time to show these wonderful people some major love! Teachers definitely have a special place in heaven for everything they do, so I make sure to spoil my boys teachers rotten through out the year, but especially during their special week. I did a DIY post last year with my favorite ideas, so of course I had to do it again this year. Every year I make a little something for my boys to take to their teachers every day of the week, saving the biggest for last. Here are a few of my favorites this year {courtesy of Pinterest of course}, I have included the link to each one so you can find the directions and print outs, etc.
“You’ve Got the WRITE Stuff”
I plan to use a glass mason jar and dress it up with some tulle or twine and the tag, which I have so it will just cost me the price of the pencils.
“I <3 my teacher”
I have the mason jar, tag, and jute already, so I just have to buy tea. I will get a couple boxes of a variety of tea flavors and will make this for 4 teachers. It should be pretty inexpensive!
{some other cute sayings I saw that go with this idea were “You are a Lifesaver” with individually wrapped peppermint Lifesavers, and “You were Mint to be a teacher” with the small pre-wrapped York Peppermint Patties}
**this is probably the one I will send on the last day along with a gift card to Starbucks**
“You are a FANTAstic Teacher”
Just have to buy a 6 pack of Fanta which I am assuming is less that $5, score.
“You are SIMPLY the best”
Just have to buy the bottles of juice, just a couple bucks spent!
{I think I am going to get the lemonade even though the apple goes with the teacher theme}
“We need S’more teachers like you”
I have the plastic bags & paper for tags already, so I am just out the cost of the graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate.
Well there is the list of my 5 favorite crafty gifts for this year….hope you like them as much as I do. Now get crafting and treat those teachers who give so much to your littles.
