The trend continues this summer with the ever-popular gladiator sandals. There are so many styles to choose from so how do you know which one to pick? Well, any of them because they make every leg look fab and elongated! The higher style from Free People is definitely best worn by taller fashionistas but the Steve Madden and Sam Edelman styles with the extra hardware are my personal favorites.
My favorite go-to casual shoe is the always stylish ballet flat. The ballet flat comes in so many different colors, styles and prices. My favorite is the Vince Camuto flat which I have purchased in almost every color made. They have bright, bold colors which shouldn’t be missed. And they are also uber comfortable. If you want to splurge, the Tory Burch ballet flat is the way to go with its classic style and simplicity. The Lucky Brand flat is similar to Vince Camuto but a little less expensive. Still the same comfort and style without the price.
From walking down to my sisters house to going to the gym and back again, I throw on my Haviana flip flops. There are hundreds of combos with hardware or plain. You can also create your one of a kind look online! Abercrombie and Fitch also has the rubber flops at affordable prices.
For the Austinite fashionista, TOMS’ are the favorites of all the fashion forward moms! They come in so many colors and print combos that’s its hard to pick just one. Plus, they make kids shoes so you can match your mini fashionista, too! And for the mom who wants some height on her explorations, the wedge is so cute and comfy.
