Super Bowl ImageSunday is the “Big Game.” The 18-week long quest for the Lombardi trophy culminates in one epic battle between Denver and Seattle.

In the Caldwell house, we bleed Steeler black and gold. But despite the recent unlucky years for Pittsburgh, we still love the Super Bowl. {Can we call it that??} I know a lot of people just like to watch the commercials and the halftime show or the Puppy Bowl – who doesn’t love the Puppy Bowl? – but I love every second of the game. The pre-game media days, the awards, the pageantry…it fuels me in the weeks leading up to the big game. But by far my favorite favorite part of the day is, of course, the FOOD.

Below are links to some of my favorite Big Game recipes. You can also check my Football Eats Pinterest board.

Buffalo Wings

Deviled Eggs

Fried Fish Sandwiches (In honor of Seattle)

Chile Colorado Burritos (In honor of Denver)

Pierogies (Just because Pittsburgh isn’t in the game doesn’t mean you can’t honor the greatness of the black and gold)

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Pepperoni Bread

Snack Stadium (If any of our readers makes one of these, please share it on our Facebook page for a fabulous prize)

I’m also a huge fan of Ruffles and onion dip. Just take a package of onion soup mix and blend with sour cream. Dip with Ruffles. Or vegetables if you’re into that.

We want to see your Big Game food spread! Post to our Facebook or Twitter pages with #AMBFootballEats. Go team go!
