No stronger love exists than that of a Mother for her Child.
Mother’s Day is a day to celebrate your legacy of mother’s before you. They deserve more than just one day but Sunday is that day to pamper and celebrate them ALL day.
Since I am not yet a mother, I chose to honor my mother and grandmothers by a special Smilebox video uploaded to my OneDay timeline. If you are a Austin Moms Blog follower you probably know what OneDay is already. BUT if you’re new (Hello and welcome!) OneDay is a family tree/life timeline/picture and video event site. You can easily get signed up and start your timeline.
Add your family and create your tree to see what you upload and you can select events to be private or public. I love the vault section where you can create time capsules to open at a set date and time i.e. future letters and videos for your children and grandchildren to open when they are a certain age. I love Chelsea’s letter to her unborn child. It was so moving, special and I will definitely be doing that once we find out we are pregnant.
For now, I celebrate my mother and grandmothers. Women who work so very hard to provide a wonderful life for me and my family. My Grandma will always be remembered as a woman who worked hard to get what she wanted. My Granny continues to dote on her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I hope to soon give her another great-grand to cherish. And my mother – one cannot put into words how much I owe her. I could only come up with pictures for this video. She knows how much I love her and cherish her and can see that through the pictures I picked.
With my timeline and vault I can show this to my children and show them my life: where I came from, what my favorite memories are and what advice I have for them – one of the reasons I love OneDay. They will know my details and grow a stronger bond with their mom.
