As a photographer, Lord knows, I take plenty of photographs of my children.  But most of the time, they sit in my photoshop and no one gets to see them.   Same is true for videos.  I have so many videos on my iPhone that I get that daily reminder that, “I’m almost out of memory.”  Having 2500 photographs on your phone and 50+ videos will do that to a person.

Anyway, I’ve been taking little interview videos of my children since my youngest was just turning two.  I ask them random questions about their day, or their favorite things to do, what they love about their family, etc.   In fact, one of my favorites is of Sabrina just as she turned two and every single question I asked her, she said no — and when I asked, “are you two?”  She looked at me and smiled and then said, “no.”   I took a video of her this week — she’s almost eight — and it’s so fun to watch how grown up she is now.  My favorite part?  I asked her what her favorite subject in school is and she said, “Economics.”  (really — in the first grade) … and my least favorite part — when I asked her if she had a boyfriend and she responded yes — four of them.

Here’s Sabrina’s precious video!

I’ve been playing around with OneDay and love the fact that they have a video feature and a way to catalog photographs from Facebook and Instagram and, of course, straight from my computer.  You can imagine how much the grandparents are going to love being able to see their grandkids all in one place!

Another great feature about OneDay is that you can time capsule videos to be shared on certain dates or milestones. The possibilities are truly endless and I love how creative I can get with all the choices!
