July 4th is just a little over a week away and it’s not too late to start planning how you and your family are going to celebrate.  

We’ve got a great list below of events going on in Austin and the surrounding area…some as early as this weekend!

38th Annual Austin Symphony HEB July 4th Concert & Fireworks – Austin’s largest event! The symphony will start at 8:30pm and the fireworks begin at 9:30pm. It all takes places at the Circuit of the Americas. (FREE)

Wells Branch 4th Fest An all-day celebration including a parade, live music, face painting, photo booth, kiddy train, balloon clowns, rock wall and more. 10am – 5pm. It finishes with a fireworks show at Katherine Fleicher Park around 9:30pm. (FREE)

Bob Schneiders 4th of July Bash @ Nutty Brown CaféMilk Drive to open, followed by Bob Schneider and a fireworks show! Advanced tickets are $17, doors open at 6pm.

Hill Country Galleria Independence Day Festival Live music all day, 75 art vendors, bbq, carnival games & rides, and TWO firework shows (9:30 pm & 11pm). Saturday, June 28th 4pm-12am (FREE).

Round Rock Express Game – Doesn’t get any more American than watching a baseball game, eating a hotdog, enjoying a cold beer and watching fireworks. America! 7pm – Lawn seating only $7.

Pflugerville Phirecracker Pfestival – 3- 11 pm , Food, drinks, arts & crafts, and live entertainment all day. Best fireworks show in Central Texas launching from the southwest area of lake Pflugerville. You must take the shuttle. No onsite parking this year. 
Grab a shuttle from Hendrickson (2905 FM 685) or Pflugerville high schools (1301 Pecan Street West). Shuttles start at Noon. (FREE)

Round Rock July 4th Frontier Days Celebration  A parade, fireworks, carnival rides, Sam Bass Shootout, live music, pig races, jalapeno pepper eating contest and a firework show!  Event at Old Settlers Park. (FREE)

Cedar Park 4th of July Celebration – Parade @ 10am, Celebration at Milburn Park from 4-10:30pm – Live music, air castles, free watermelon, carnival games, super slide, washer tournament, face painting. (FREE)

 Georgetown’s 30th Annual July 4th Celebration – 11am to 10pm at San Gabriel Park. Hometown parade, kid’s activities, petting zoo, bounce house, live entertainment, arts and crafts, food vendors. Fireworks begin at dark. (FREE)

Kyle Independence Day Celebration Fireworks Show – Live music from 6pm-9pm on the Plum Creek Golf Course with a fireworks show to follow.  Hot dogs & cold drinks will be sold. (FREE)
