1. Chevron Duct Tape Soda Pail

Pick out a cute red and white pattern or solid red and white duct tape and go to town on a blue ice bucket! (You could switch up the colors on the tape and the bucket if you wanted.) I had leftover chevron tape from Christmas so this worked out perfect!

2. “Happy Birthday America” Pinwheel

Cut two circles out of plates or card stock. Glue straws on to one side of the circle with hot glue in a star burst pattern. Glue other circle on top. Glue a little twine or ribbon on the inside of the circle to show off your cute pinwheel. Decorate the circles with 4th of July printouts or striped scrapbook paper.

3. Chevron Duct Tape Baskets

Same as the soda pail. I found cute baskets in the dollar spot at Target and made them more USA-themed with the red and white tape!

4. Flag Mason Jar Lantern

Take a dollar store flag and remove it from the stick. Spray adhesive or glue onto the flag and then place it onto the mason jar. Seal it with Modpodge over the flag but try not to get it on the glass. Put a candle inside or fill it with goodies. Red, white and blue jelly beans, maybe??

5. “Happy 4th” Bunting

Buy pre-cut bunting pennants at a craft store or cut bunting out yourself with craft paper. Use scrapbook paper to decorate your flags. I added left over sparkles to the ends! Punch holes in flags and thread through a bright colored ribbon to tie it up! (I used a glossy modpodge so it isn’t as cute as it is supposed to be… I’ll use matte next time!)
