I don’t know about you, but I’m a pool mom… That means every single day between wake up and nap time my toddler and I are at the pool or the splash pad… There is nothing that wears my child out more, and hey, I get a tan to boot!

But, here we are in Texas, and while we might be late to the winter game, it’s finally cold. And by cold I mean, not pool weather.

So what’s a mom to do with a spicy toddler that literally could run on the treadmill all day? Where do we burn off the endless energy and still stay toasty?

NORTH:

Bass Pro Shop: Even though this isn’t technically a kids place, there is so much to look at (especially during the holidays) for all ages and IT’S free!

CENTRAL:

Toybrary: A lending library for toys! And a great play space for kids 6 months – 5 years (toybraryaustin.com)

SOUTH:

iPlay: A moon bounce house for 3 and up and has an enclosed toddler only room for littles under 3. (iplaytx.com)

My Gym: They offer structured classes for babies and toddlers, open gym and they are a clean, safe and supervised place to play. (mygym.com)

And for a little field trip: There is Cabelas in Buda, which has incredible displays of animals, an aquarium and a cafe!
