For every child participating in the hunt, bring a dozen filled plastic eggs. There will also be a fire truck at the event. The volunteers will hide the eggs, in designated areas, for each age group and a Pot luck community lunch will follow the hunt.

All you need to do is register before March 20 at $4.00 per child or late registration begins March 21 at $5.00 a child (no registration will be done at the park) bring your basket and a flashlight. There are different hunt times based on age and ability, also parents are welcome to help their little ones, just pick that particular hunt time.

Easter Egg Drop Extravaganza (75,000 eggs)
Saturday, April 8, 2017
San Marcos high school will be hosting the largest Easter egg hunt in the area, 75,000 will be dropped from a helicopter in a designated zone for the kids. Each age group will have a designated zone, and after the drop, the kids will be released to collect the eggs. The drop starts at 11:30 and other activities will be ongoing. This event is free.

Becky is a transplant from New Mexico and has been in the area for 5 years now. She has her Bachelors of Science in Education from New Mexico State University and has been involved with Big Bothers/Big Sisters; Habitat for Humanity; and TRiO EDucational Talent Search. She is engaged to Ryan and the mother to a feisty and silly 5 year old named Olivia and a curious 2 yr old named Frankie. Becky enjoys exploring Austin and the surrounding areas; during the weekend, Olivia and Frankie will drive up to 2 hours in any direction, to try a new activity, attend a festival or play in a new park.
