Yes, there are plenty places around Austin to pick up a Christmas tree, but wouldn’t it be fun to venture out as a family to a tree farm where you can pick out and cut down your own tree? Here are a few Christmas tree farms nearby where you can choose and cut your own tree!

Gattis as we help Santa countdown and flip on the holiday lights on The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas!
Austin. What began as a small gathering in 1965 known as the “Yule Fest,” a gift to the city of Austin from Austin Parks and Recreation Department, has now grown to be a community-wide celebration of the unique spirit and people that make Austin the place we love to call home. In the 52 years since the first Yule Log was lit, the Trail of Lights has expanded to more than 40 displays, 2 million lights and holiday activities that create countless memories. Each new display, community performance and lighted tunnel has added a new layer to the holiday tradition and brought us together more as a community. Today, the Trail of Lights is one of the three largest events in Austin and receives national accolades while remaining a deeply cherished local tradition.
Austin. Enjoy seasonal music from the Arundel Ensemble String Trio in celebration of the annual lighting of The Driskill Tree.

Enjoy some hot chocolate from the IceCream2U truck for purchase and complimentary marshmallow roasting! Santa, Mrs. Claus and Rudolph will be nearby to “plug in” the Trail of Lights display and to speak to all of the good little boys and girls of Lakeway.
