San Marcos. San Marcos Sights & Sounds of Christmas is a 501(c)3 charity based in beautiful San Marcos, Texas. Started in 1987, Sights & Sounds was established to bring the community together to celebrate the holiday season, and to create a place for local area non-profits to raise money for their causes.
Each year Sights & Sounds sets fundraising goals, and in the last 3 years our organization has helped local area non-profits raise over $300,000! Sights & Sounds hosts smaller events throughout the year, boasting the city’s largest 5K and Kid-K holiday run that winds its way through the heart of Historic San Marcos.Christmas Family Night 2016
Dripping Springs. Join us on historical Mercer Street from 10am – 5pm for a special holiday festival with arts and crafts, booths, children’s games and activities, live family entertainment, local food vendors, and of course, SANTA!
Georgetown. The Magic of the Stroll is real and will bring memories on this 37th Annual Celebration. The Georgetown Square will be transformed into a genuine Christmas card come to life. It’s a magical setting of a multitude of trees outlined with twinkling white lights , old fashioned lamp poles, Santa in the Christmas tree farm waiting to hear from both naughty & nice. It’s the place to journey back in time as you wonder through Bethlehem Village. You can also find the Grinch and his characters in Whoo-Village.
5 p.m.: Parade begins
approx. 5:45 p.m.: Tree lighting on Main Street
5 – 8 p.m.: Pfestive performances by the Pflugerville Recreation Center Classes, Dance Elements, Pflugerville High School Yuletide Choir and Carpe Sono. While you listen to music or wait for the parade, enjoy cookies thanks to HEB and hot chocolate thanks to Fairway Mortgage at City Hall.
After lighting the tree, Santa will be available for pictures until 8 p.m. so bring your camera!
