I had visions of my gliding with my sweet newborn in the middle of the night while humming sweet lullabyes.  The truth is, her glider was in her room and everything else I needed was not (formula, bottle, breast pump, etc.).  I ended up finding a nice spot on the sofa to handle our middle of the night routines and rarely used our glider.

As Caroline outgrew the middle of the night feedings, her glider became a resting place for everything except my tush.  Laundry—yes….Diaper Bag—yes….New Baby Purchases—you betcha!  Unfortunately, my glider and I just didn’t bond right off the bat.  It wasn’t because I didn’t love it! I LOVED that chair when I was pregnant…it just wasn’t in the right spot for me to maximize its potential.

For me, was the Glider worth it?  Probably not. Does that mean it’s not for others–NO WAY! Our beautiful glider is now in the hands of Jeff, Ashley and Baby Girl Hannah Mues and I’ve heard from them it’s the most used item in their house.  The lesson here is that glider placement makes all the difference.
