Ready for the countdown? Want to have a nice dinner with your main squeeze first?  Well, be prepared to pay top price for that dinner if it’s New Year’s Eve.

In my experience, your local favorite restuarant will NOT offer its standard menu on NYE, but instead it will offer diners a set menu for a hefty pricetag (think $100 to $200++ a person.)  Yikes!  Do you know how many diapers I could buy for that?  Yup…enough to make going out on New Year’s Eve NOT worth it.

Ringing in the New Year can still be fun without the huge investment.  Hosting a potluck party with friends is a great alternative and will be a fraction of the cost.
