Meet Our New Faces, Austin Moms Blog Is Growing!

When Vanessa and I started this blog almost a year ago, we thought we could do it ALL! A few blogs a week each, a diaper change in between, coming up with fresh ideas here, throwing out contests there, botta bing botta boom, and we’d have ourselves a blog! And it worked! Our followers grew quickly and we are still so tickled moms all across the United States {mostly here in Austin, of course} come back to read our words every day. BUT, even the best of moms {ahem, if I must say so myself} have to breathe! Our mommy network is continuing to grow and we want to give you even more than we have in the past 10 months. So, without further ado I’d like to introduce our new team!

Allena: Allena is no stranger to parenting with a 3 year old and another bun in the oven expected to be here in December. Allena is a native Texan, works for a big 4 public accounting firm, and an Aggie {don’t worry, we won’t hold it against you :)}. Allena likes to parent a little off the mainstream path and has considered placenta encapsulation and believes in cloth diapering, baby wearing, and breastfeeding. We can’t wait to have you blog about placenta encapsulation, Allena!!!

Lisa C.: Lisa hasn’t quite made her way to Austin yet, but she’s on her way to being an Austinite this month! Lisa comes to us from Reno, Nevada and is the proud mama to a 2 year old {hey, Lisa…you fit right in with me and Vanessa!!!} Lisa is a professional mommy, but still toying with the idea of going back to Corporate America. I support Domestic Engineering, Lisa; however, I look forward to hearing about your journey once you’re finally here in Austin!

Elisabeth: Elisabeth comes to us with 5 years of parenting under her belt! She’s the proud mama to a 5 year old and a fresh little bundle of 3 months! Elisabeth is the Family Life Ministry coordinator at her church and started the Lake Travis School of Fine Arts, where she teaches musical theatre. Elisabeth and her hubs are an attachment-parenting-style family and believe in breastfeeding, baby wearing and co-sleeping! We are delighted to have you, Elisabeth!

Katie Eaton: Katie joins the team as not just a mommy, but a professional photographer too! Yea! Now she can teach us MWACs {Moms With A Camera} how to shoot something more worthy than an Instagram shot! Katie is one of our novice moms with a 6 year old and a 2 year old. We love Katie, because she loves Anthropolog, Target, Harry Potter and Austin Moms Blog! Welcome, Katie!  You can see her work at www.KatieEatonPhotography.com

Ashlee: Ashlee is no stranger to Austin Moms Blog and has been one of our contributors for 6 months. She’s not just our veteran blogger, but she’s our veteran mommy too with an 8 year old, 6 year old, and 3 year old! Oh yeah, and she is considering growing her family with the addition of a baby girl as soon as they find an adoptive family. We’re so happy to have you back, Ashlee!

Lisa D: Lisa, a fashionista, another veteran mommy with a 9 year old and almost 6 year old, an avid eBAY seller {yeah she has almost 2000 feedbacks!!!!}, and the coolest sister I know is joining our team as our fashion blogger! We’ve already seen a couple of blogs from her since our inception, but now she’s officially an Austin mommy so she’s excited to share her fashion tips to other fellow moms! From fashion for the kids to fashion for you, I promise, she knows it all! Welcome, sis!
