Happy Valentines, AMB.  First and foremost it’s important imperative that we tell you that we LOVE LOVE LOVE you for coming to our site every day and hearing about trials, triumphs and tribulations through this journey called motherhood.

So, it’s V-Day…the day of LOVE….the day we all hope to get flowers at our office….the day we hope our main squeeze surprises us with a date night and a babysitter…and let’s face it, somewhere between the first I love you and tucking the kids in bed last night, some of that romance and “ohh la la” is kind of MIA.

We thought it would be fun to compile a list of stories of how that first “I Love You” came-to-be between your AMB co-founders and their baby daddies. Lots of kissing involved with your favorite ladies.

Wesley and I met at a Labor Day party in 2007 and had our first date the next night. He pulled out all the bells and whistles. Within a week of our first date, Wesley told me he loved me {although I’m 99% sure he’d deny this known fact}…what can I say? I’m lovable, I guess! I remember I didn’t say the “L” word back right away, but within a few weeks of dating we were already talking about engagement rings and spending our lives together so I’m guessing somewhere between week 1 and week 3, I broke the silence.

Lance and I had only known each other one week when we said the “L” word. We subsequently talked about marriage in the same conversation…I guess that’s romantic, or crazy!

Matt and I were hanging out at the baseball stadium where he was working at the time and all I can remember (because I had a beer or two before this happened) is him walking away from me, to go get something not leaving me, and me blurting out “I love you, be careful!” and we both kind of looked at each other and said it again.  Ha.

I was 16 and Brent was 17. We were home alone at my house making out (PG rated of course). We looked at each other and both said it. Totally cheesy, but I guess almost 16 years later we really did mean it!

Lisa

It’s not a very romantic story. I think we were making out in my parents’ basement and I just blurted it out.

Ashlee

Brandon and I said it during a make out session as well about a month after we started dating  LOL makes me laugh to read everyone’s and all the make out sessions!

When did you blurt out the “L Word”?
