If you’re looking for last minute Christmas ideas for the kids, whether it be for school or for at home, we’ve got a couple more that we wanted to share.

I’ve never in my life heard of reindeer food. Honestly the thought just never crossed my mind. My sister came across the idea and for all those non-crafty moms that also never thought of it… here it is!

Reindeer Food Recipe

What You Need:

  • Small Bags {I got mine from Michaels… 100 baggies with ties for $5}
  • Oats
  • Glitter
  • Paper

What You Do:

  • Fill the baggies with oats
  • Sprinkle a large amount of glitter
  • Secure with a twist tie or twine
  • Print out a cute little image with a poem and attach to baggie
  • Call it a night!

At my son’s preschool there was a dreaded sign up sheet for the Christmas party scheduled for tomorrow. All that was left was “special snack”. I give my kiddo grapes everyday so I was trying to figure out a way to make grapes “special”. Here’s what I came up with for the 3 year olds tomorrow!

Snacks for Kids

What You Need:

  • Snack Size Ziploc Bags
  • Colorful Gold Fish
  • Grapes
  • Clothespins
  • Jingle Bells

What You Do:

  • I wanted to make the clothespins cute {totally unnecessary as they will probably be thrown away} so I spray painted the red and used a chalk pen to make little white lines like a candy cane.
  • Hot glue jingle bell on each clothespin
  • Fill 1/2 the bag with grapes and 1/2 the bag with gold fish
  • Section off in the middle with a clothespin

All I’ve got to say is these 10 moms tomorrow better think I’m SUPER MOM! I’m a total fake, but I think I pulled it off… for “the kids”. The other moms have nothing to do with my efforts. At. All.

Do you have a craft up your sleeve for the kid’s Christmas party at school? SHARE!!!
