I know I’m not alone when I say I am a total movie geek.  Austin, after all, is gaining popularity as a premier destination for all things film.  The number of movies, television shows, and commercials shot in the capitol city has skyrocketed in recent years, and Austin adds it’s name to the industry credits, so to speak, every year with the screenplay-centered Austin Film Festival.  I think it’s a safe bet that many of our readers are  frequent patrons of Austin’s most popular movie houses: Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, Violet Crown Cinema, iPic Theater, and (my personal favorite) Blue Starlite Drive-In.

So for your viewing pleasure, we are proud to present Austin Mom’s Blog Official Guide to Films in 2014.
