Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, and some of my most memorable birthday parties as a child were Halloween themed.
When planning my son’s 2nd birthday, I wanted to keep it simple. I’m not a huge fan of cartoon themed parties, and Target reeled me in with their amazing Halloween decor. So a Halloween party we had! The best part is I’ll be reusing all the decorations for our Halloween party tonight!
As I planned the party I tried to keep it very simple, but I’ve come to conclusion that no matter how simple you make it, it’s still going to be stressful. After friends and family left, I thought…I’m never doing this again. It’s not that I didn’t have a good time, I just I feel like a chicken running around with my head cut off the entire time. Grabbing food, making sure Turner is ok, refilling drinks, picking up food and trash.
