  • 32 oz mason jar
  • twine or ribbon
  • jar filler
  • 2 1/2 x 3 1/2″ cardstock cards
  • markers
  • hole punch
  • scissors
  • sticks

I took my 32 oz mason jar {any size would work, but I wanted mine as a statement piece} and filled it with potpourri pumpkins, then added the sticks. I wrapped jute twine around the top of the jar and tied a bow. Hole punch the tops of the cardstock, I did  some vertical and some horizontal. Each day have each person in your family write something they are thankful for then tie the card on the tree with your twine. I wrote on both sides of my cards to make each card more useful…we will have 5 people adding to the tree daily. This craft is so super simple and fun for the whole family!

I ordered the jar as a set on Amazon {I use them to freeze soups and such when I cook in bulk}, I think I paid around $20 for 6. All other supplies I had except the sticks which I got at Hobby Lobby for 50% off and paid about $8 {I bought 2 sets just in case but could get by with one set}. All of the other supplies can be purchased at Hobby Lobby when 50% off or use your 40% coupon. Super easy and super inexpensive.
