We are super excited to announce our upcoming playdate!
Let your imagination run wild with tens of thousands of LEGO®! Play-Well TEKnologies and Austin Moms Blog will host a LEGO® playdate on Saturday June 20th at the Northwest Recreation Center Gym. Mark your calendars for this family-friendly Father’s Day Weekend activity!
This will be an opportunity for your young builders and engineers to get hands on instruction on how to take their LEGO® building to the next level and will also give you a preview of some of the amazing summer programs that Play-Well TEKnologies will be hosting in Austin this summer.
Two class options will be offered on June 20th:
K-2nd Grade Play-Well Class (Pre-Engineering)
Build engineer-designed projects such as boats, bridges, mazes and motorized cars, and use special pieces to create your own unique design! Explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor.
3rd-5th Grade Play-Well Class (Engineering FUNdamentals)
Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer-designed projects such as arch bridges, skyscrapers, motorized cars, and the Battletrack! Design and build as never before, and explore your craziest ideas in a supportive environment. An experienced instructor will challenge new and returning students to engineer at the next level.
