Holiday Gift Ideas
Whenever there is a holiday and it’s time to go to preschool with my 2 boys, I always cringe a little. The teacher gifts are so beautiful, creative, and are a walking advertisement for Pinterest. The gifts for the kids in the class are even more amazing. I seriously don’t know how these moms do it.
I’ve said it a million times, but if it ain’t easy, I’m not doing it. When coming up with ideas for anything DIY, I consider all the moving parts. If I read past step 5, I’m done and move on.
With that said, here are 3 SUPER DUPER EASY gift ideas for the holidays that were seriously effortless.
Personalized Ornaments
What You Need:
- Plain Glass Ornament Balls — mine were $5.99 for 6 at Michael’s
- Sticker Letters
- Glitter
What You Do:
- Take the stickers and spell out the teacher or friend’s name on the ornament
- Sprinkle Glitter in the ornament
- Done
Peppermint Marshmallows
What You Need:
- Jumbo Marshmallows
- Mini Candy Canes
- Chocolate Melts
What You Do:
- Crush some of the candy canes into small pieces
- Melt your chocolate
- Dip your marshmallows 1/2 way into the chocolate
- Sprinkle the crushed candy canes onto the chocolate
- Let Dry
- Stick a mini candy cane in the opposite end of the marshmallow
- You can take to school as is for a party or wrap in clear baggies and tie with a cute ribbon
Gingerbread Man Brownies
What You Need:
- Brownie Mix
- Gingerbread Man Cookie Cutters
- Holiday Sprinkles
- Clear Plastic Bags
What You Do
- Cook your brownies according to the instructions
- Cut out the brownies with gingerbread man cookie cutter LEAVING the brownie stuck in the cookie cutter
- Sprinkle with holiday sprinkles
- Wrap ’em up!
