Did you make any health and fitness related New Years Resolutions? Do you think it’s as cruel amazing as I do that Girls Scout cookie season is just a few weeks after we set those resolutions?

We’ve pulled together a list of free and affordable workouts to help you get those fitness goals back on track.

Camp Gladiator Boot Camp at Whole Foods (Domain)

Saturdays at 7AM, Camp Gladiator offers a free boot camp at the Whole Foods in the Domain. The group will meet in the parking lot and be ready for a high-intensity workout to kick-off your day. I know all of us have at least one Facebook friend we regularly see raving about a Camp Gladiator. They also have a handy app to help you keep track of your workout progress. And an added bonus is you’re already at Whole Foods and can knock out your grocery shopping or grab a healthy snack while you’re there!

Pints & Poses at Hyatt Hotel (Downtown)

The Hyatt downtown is now offering a new FREE yoga series, PINTS & POSES, the second Monday of each month. You get a free one-hour vinyasa yoga class led by Austin yogi Ferny Barcelo from Six Elephants Yoga+Therapy. If the weather is nice, the class will be held outside on the lawn overlooking Lady Bird Lake. Your sweet work-out reward is a complimentary local draft on the patio and an extended happy hour.

Greenbird Fitness (South Austin)

At Greenbird Fitness your first full week of classes is free and you receive a 20% off discount on class packages you purchase at the end of your free week. I LOVE the vibe here and the studio is adorable. It’s an old green Texaco building with a beautiful wraparound porch by an old train and train depot. The studio has large barn doors that are open during class if the weather is nice. I took a barre class here on New Year’s Day and the playlist was amazing — lots of Hip-Hop and Britney (my faves).  You can tell it’s a close knit group of members that cheer each other on during class. Childcare is also available.

Athleta Events and Studio of the Month (Domain)

Athleta in the Domain offers so many fun, free events year-round. They pick “studio(s) of the month” to partner with and offer free workouts, and February’s studios are Flywheel Sports spin classes, Barre3 and Diva Dance. You can view the full schedule and RSVP details here. And if you work-out wardrobe needs a refresh, you’re in good hands. Altheta even offers a “give-it-a-workout guarantee” return policy.
