kid friendly bars austin

:: DISCLAIMER :: Austin Moms Blog promotes responsible drinking…especially from parents at kid-friendly bars.

May the road rise up to meet you

May the wind be at your back

May you bring your kid to the bar

Without anyone talking smack

As it is with anyone’s heritage, the green blood runs deep within me and I am a proud Irish woman. With that, however, comes great responsibility especially… on St. Patrick’s Day. My family and I wear green and we drink Guiness… it’s non-negotiable. You better believe that not even my tantrum-throwing toddler will keep me from this tradition.

So, as the good Irish woman that I am, I’m going to share with you all of the kid-friendly bars and places to drink with kids in tow in Austin so you too can enjoy Smithwicks, Harp and a tasty Guiness. Hopefully I’ll see you there!

  1. Thank you! After hitting the Domain festivities last year and being denied entrance because of our two teen age boys, I will not be denied my Guinness stout and Irish food in 2017. My grandmother wasn’t a McCann for nothing. And I’m thinking I’ll start my day with an Irish coffee for good luck. Erin go Bragh!
