Meet Lisa Davis
Hello there! I’ve been MIA from the blog writing for a really long time. But I’m back after a very extended long hiatus. I’m a lot wiser, a teeny, tiny bit older, I now have a teenager and I am back on the market – the dating market that is!
Long story, somewhat, short I’m the proud mom of a 13-year-old boy, Parker, and a 10-year-old girl, Saylor. They came into this world after my meeting their dad in 2001, married and moved to Houston in 2002 and divorced in 2016. After living in Austin the majority of my life, Houston was an enormous change that I never could fully embrace. So, I moved back to Austin, more specifically Lakeway, in 2012 — just me and the kids. I can guarantee I will elaborate more about that in later blogs but for the time being that pretty much has you caught up with my geographic location.
I’m now a single mom and the entire world has opened up for me. I can pretty much be anyone or anything I want. After making the decision to change my marital status, I also decided to turn my hobby into a career. I began Pilates Instructor training and fitness instructor training in general. My goal is to help others be the best them they can be. And again, I will elaborate more on this as well in future blogs. But right now, I’m working as a barre instructor and loving every single minute of it. My main focus is still to raise two phenomenal human beings who are happy, productive, kind, smart and successful.
In what little spare time I have, I volunteer for the Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC) which is a huge passion I have found I have. I can’t wait to share my thoughts on all sorts of subjects and I hope after you read them you find something useful in your life too!
