The Clay Madsen Foundation’s Fourth Annual Boots & BBQ Fundraiser Sponsored by AiRCO Mechanical supports grants for Austin-area families with children battling cancer. Featuring the Denny Herrin Band, BBQ, auctions and family fun, the fundraiser takes place 6-11 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 18 at the Old Settlers Association of Williamson County Main Hall, 3300 E. AiRCO Mechanical, a Round Rock-based heating and air-conditioning company, is the first title sponsor of the event, which has funded more than $200,000 in grants since 2014. The Clay Madsen Foundation was formed in honor of Round Rock resident Clay Madsen, who passed away from cancer at the age of 19 on Nov. 4, 1992.
