Bring in the New Year with a free, fun and family-friendly celebration. Austin’s New Year will transform Vic Mathias Shores into a wonderland of music, art, special performances and of course, Austin’s legendary food favorites. The 2017 event will include three stages, 15 local and regional bands, food trucks, kid’s activities, and multiple art installations.
Join us for a night out to support Special Olympics Texas. Your tickets will provide light hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, a silent auction, music and a whole lot of casino fun with slot machines, craps table, roulette, “21,” and a “Texas Hold ‘Em” table too! All net proceeds will help fund Special Olympics Texas programs.

Since 1983, the Austin Junior Forum (AJF) has ushered in Austin’s holiday season with Christmas at the Caswell House. We’re happy to present our 34th year, Jingle Bell Rock, November 3rd through 11th and December 4th and 18th, 2016.
Every year we look forward to opening our historic Daniel H. Caswell house to the community during this special time. AJF members spend approximately 2000 hours preparing for and hosting our signature fundraiser where guests shop for beautiful ornaments, holiday décor, jewelry, clothing, affordable gifts and delicious gourmet foods. Our guests also attend our many special events.
‘Tis the season to enjoy delicious food and wine! Join us in TRIO – or the elegant Four Seasons Ballroom – for our annual Christmas Day Buffet, featuring festive decor and a spread of mouth-watering holiday dishes.
Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride under the holiday lights each Friday and Saturday night from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Pick-up locations near California Pizza Kitchen and The Brass Tap. Available Friday, November 24 through Saturday, December 23.
In collaboration with the Austin American-Statesman’s Season for Caring, The Driskill is hosting its third annual holiday cookie swap as a nod to its history of hotel-saving bake sales! Join us and curate your holiday cookie collection from the best bakers in Austin. Pre-order your cookie tin, then join us to peruse the baked goods and fill your festive tin while sipping on celebratory bubbles and delighting in the seasonal sounds of the carolers.
We are celebrating the holiday season with a throwback to the heyday of the American steakhouse. Classic dishes paired with Duchman wines, a few library selections are sure to steal the show.

Enjoy complimentary hot apple cider and festive cookies as you ooh-and-aah over the details of our “Monopoly”-themed Gingerbread Village in the Lobby. Our talented pastry chefs –along with special guest, Santa –will also be on hand for photo opportunities and to answer questions about the houses, which will be on display from November 21 through December 28, 2017.

Once upon a time, in a hotel not too far away, there stood a majestic Gingerbread Village… The fairy tale is set to become reality with this year’s theme, revealing several whimsical – and completely edible – scenes from classic children’s stories and nursery rhymes. Join us for two Holiday Open Houses featuring hot apple cider, cookies, photos with Santa and the opportunity to meet the talented pastry chefs behind the village. The Holiday Open Houses take place in the lobby and are complimentary for locals and visitors.
Kick off the New Year with an expansive Brunch buffet in TRIO, featuring more than 80 items prepared by our talented culinary team. Tasty menu by Chef Fiore Tedesco.

Guests of all ages are invited to this Four Seasons Hotel Austin tradition, featuring tea service, holiday caroling and a fireside reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas by Santa himself! Those attending are asked to bring a new, unwrapped teddy bear, which will be donated to Dell Children’s Hospital.
The Nutcracker Tea Party is a festive, family-friendly event perfect for the child in all of us! Enjoy a delightful tea party and watch the joy on children’s faces as they delight in meeting Clara, the Mouse Queen, the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Snow Queen. Conveniently scheduled at 4 p.m. on Dec. 10th for audiences attending either the 2 p.m. or 6 p.m. showing of The Nutcracker performed by the TexARTS Youth Ballet Company.

All items at the Bazaar are handmade by local and regional artists that are selected through a rigorous jury process. The Bazaar features the work of more than 200 artists offering a wide variety of imaginative and beautiful gifts. You can expect to find paintings, photography, prints, sculptures, jewelry, clothing, accessories, glassworks, ceramics, and more gifts you can’t find anywhere else.

A star-studded music lineup is set for the 41st Armadillo Christmas Bazaar, an 11-day shopping destination and annual tradition for Austinites. Featured musicians range from emerging stars to local legends, as well as Grammy winners. Armadillo’s intimate stage allows guests to experience Texas music all-stars in a rare holiday setting surrounded by friends and family. The 2016 lineup includes 34 different bands/performers with six musicians new to the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar this year.
The Allies Market is a venue for patrons to shop responsibly this holiday season, while supporting local, socially conscious vendors.
The market features fair trade, direct trade, and social enterprise merchants who use their businesses to promote employment and well-being for people in Austin and around the world. This free event for the public will include art, jewelry, music, clothing, purses/bags, toys, cosmetics, coffee, paper goods, housewares, photo prints, and much more.
Enjoy our German-Texan Annual Christmas Market this December 2nd., 2017. Come for the Food and Entertainment. Stay for a unique shopping experience. We will have authentic German, handcrafted Christmas ornaments, nutcrackers, Schwiebogen, smokers and decor. Enjoy some Gluehwein (hot spiced wine), Christmas Stollen made by The New World Bakery . Ever heard a real Alpenhorn player play his Alpen Horn? It’s our first time too. Other performers include the Saengerrunde as well as high school choirs and Sunshine Willie.

Cherrywood Art Fair is an art filled two-day event showcasing local artists, live music, kids activities and great food in a free, family-friendly environment. More than 8,000 visitors stroll through the fairgrounds looking at art, listening to beautiful music and sampling some of Austin’s finest food trailer cuisine. Since its 2002 inception, the Fair has served as a destination for discerning holiday shoppers seeking unique and artful items from Texas artists and makers. Proceeds benefit the Little Artist BIG ARTIST arts mentoring program that pairs East Austin elementary school students with professional artists. Cherrywood Art Fair and Little Artist BIG ARTIST programs are produced by Chula League.
Join us on historical Mercer Street on Saturday, December 2 from 10am – 5pm for a special holiday festival with arts and crafts booths, children’s games and activities, live family entertainment, local food vendors, and of course, SANTA! Admission is FREE. Tree Lighting is at Dusk.
